Kennedy enjoying a nap by the pool.Two weeks ago Kennedy and I tagged along with Emilio to a trade conference in Las Vegas. I was a bit concerned about traveling to Vegas WITH a baby, but I have to say it all turned out quite well...with some careful planning of course!
While he was in the conference Kennedy and I went to a little gym and music classes which she loved. The hotel we stayed in has an impressive childcare facility so I was able to sun bath while Kennedy played with other kiddos. We were even able to sneak in some bowling with other conference attendees (the bowling alley was also at the hotel...Red Rock Casino is HUGE).
Since we rented a car most if not all our time was spent off the strip in Summerlin a suburb of Vegas which to my surprise was quite nice and chic...and best of all family friendly.
On the weekend we took a trip to Hoover Dam which was so impressive....it made us dizzy when we looked down at the dam...something we weren't expecting! We also went to Red Rock Canyon and we were impressed by how beautiful it was. Overall it was a great trip and we'll be doing it again next year as the conference will be there once again!
