Happy Anniversary!

Emilio and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary this past week. I prepared a delicious dinner at home and surprised Emilio with his favorite wine.

We reflected on our first year of marriage and can see how much God has blessed our marriage and our family. We are excited to what year two brings.

G-O-A-L !!!!

I have to give props to Honduras soccer team, this past week they slammed Cuba beating them 5 to 0. Emilio was fortunate to attend the event and said the stadium was out of control. Honduras is set to play on Sunday in the quarterfinals. GO HONDURAS

It's Time for Softball

This summer season I will be playing a little softball, yes you heard that right - softball! I played when I was younger, but not enough to be considered good but playing is so much fun. We have played 3 games so far and lost only one. Yesterday we played and our team was on fire winning 12 to 4.I will keep you posted if we make it to the playoffs.

007: Operation Quick Return

This past weekend Emilio received an email from UPS Logistics, a small branch of UPS that handles small deliveries, they needed someone to “hand deliver” a package to Honduras. UPS booked the flight and hotel and before we knew it Emilio was getting ready for an impromptu trip to Honduras. This of course would have never happened in my life before Emilio, yet this does not seem so out of the ordinary in my life with Emilio, it's to be expected. Emilio left on Saturday and returned on Sunday. He was able to see his friend Erik and his dad, Aleyda and Ruth Nicole. Overall it was a quick trip filled with many great memories. Life is such a wonderful adventure!

Memorial Day Weekend

Three day weekends are such a blessing. They allow you to have a break from work and the craziness of life – which we needed. We had no engagements, so it made for an easy, laid back weekend. On Saturday we were able to sleep in, yes sleep in! We casually woke up, ate breakfast and enjoyed the slow start to the day. Later that day we ventured out of our home to the Heights area to go window shopping at the antique shops but our adventure was cut short as a torrential rain came over us and caused us to change our plans. That rain pour continued well into Monday, which allowed us to do stuff around the house and of course watch quite a few movies.

On Sunday we went to Brian and Brandon’s high school graduation dinner. I am still in shock that they are going to college, I know this makes me sound like I’m old, but I can vividly remember them as small cuddly babies, well its obvious that’s no longer the case these boys are tall and ready to start the adventure of “college life,” ahh memories…
